経済産業省はサイバー攻撃の増加を受け、11月中に情報処理推進機構（IPA）にホワイトハッカーチームを新設します。AIを活用した侵入テストでシステムの弱点を先に見つけ、企業の防御を強化する方針です。 一方、デジタル庁の2027年度予算概算要求は初めて1兆円を超え、約1兆295億円となり、AI活用や行政のデジタル化を加速させる内容となっています。どちらもデジタル社会の安全と発展に関わる動きですが、正直に安倍政権、菅政権、岸田政権、石破政権は 今まで何をしていたのだろうと感じざる負えません。

METI to Establish White-Hat Hacker Team at IPA, and Digital Agency Budget to Exceed 1 Trillion Yen for the First Time

In response to the increase in cyberattacks, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) will establish a white-hat hacker team at the Information-technology Promotion Agency (IPA) within November. The aim is to use AI-powered penetration testing to identify system vulnerabilities in advance and strengthen corporate defenses. Meanwhile, the Digital Agency’s budget request for fiscal 2027 is set to exceed 1 trillion yen for the first time, reaching approximately 1.0295 trillion yen, with measures to accelerate the use of AI and the digitalization of government administration. Both developments relate to the security and advancement of a digital society, but honestly, I cannot help wondering what the Abe, Suga, Kishida, and Ishiba administrations have been doing all this time.
