What we collect
Only your email address, if you sign up for the newsletter, with the date you signed up and confirmed. Nothing else: no name, no address.
What we use it for
Sending the weekly newsletter (new videos, articles and the news archive) and the sign-up confirmation. We never use it for ads, sell it or give it to anyone.
Where it is kept
On this site's own server (Orange Website, Iceland), in a folder that is not public. Emails are sent from that server; we use no outside mailing service.
Visitor counting
We count page views without cookies. IP addresses are not stored; repeat visits are counted with a number that changes every day and cannot be turned back into who you are. No Google Analytics, no ad trackers.
Other services
YouTube videos load from youtube-nocookie.com only when you press play. News pictures are shown from each publisher's site. Share buttons (X, LINE, Facebook, Hatena) only contact those services when you press them.
Stopping and deleting
Every email has an unsubscribe link. To have your address deleted, write to news@samuraireport.com.
