Japan's Ministry of Economy is creating a team of white-hat hackers. It will be set up at the IPA, Japan's IT promotion agency, within November. They'll use AI to run break-in tests, find weak spots first, and help companies defend themselves. Meanwhile, the Digital Agency's budget request topped one trillion yen for the first time. That's about one point oh three trillion yen.
