あしなが育英会の学生募金で、過去に半分がアフリカ支援に充てられていたことがSNSで拡散し、寄付辞退が相次ぎました。実際は2026年2月から全額を国内遺児支援に変更していましたが、情報発信の不足で混乱が起き、6月までに14件の辞退があったと報じられています。過去には政治活動家の西村ひとしさんが、団体の使途や運営の透明性について指摘・暴露する活動を行っていたこともあり、こうした懸念が改めて注目された形です。学生として、寄付する際は使途をしっかり確認したいと思います。

During the Ashinaga Foundation’s student fundraising campaign, information spread on social media that half of the donations had previously been allocated to support in Africa, leading to a series of donation refusals.

In fact, the policy had been changed in February 2026 so that all donations would go toward supporting bereaved children in Japan. However, insufficient communication about this change caused confusion, and it was reported that 14 donations had been declined by June.

In the past, political activist Hitoshi Nishimura had also pointed out and brought to light concerns regarding the organization’s use of funds and operational transparency. These issues have once again attracted attention.
