Unemployed South Korean National Using a Japanese Name Suspected of Luring First-Year Junior High School Girl via Social Media and Committing a Sex Crime

Arrested for the Fifth Time, Yet Not Deported

Hyogo Prefectural Police have rearrested a 25-year-old South Korean national with no fixed address and no occupation on suspicion of non-consensual sexual intercourse and other offenses.

The man goes by the Japanese-style name “Fu Yuito,” and it has been pointed out that he may be using an alias (tsūmei).

He is suspected of luring a first-year junior high school girl through social media in April of this year, assaulting her at his home, and filming the incident.

He had previously been arrested four times on similar charges involving girls aged 9 to 14. This is his fifth arrest, yet he has not been deported, reportedly for reasons including the fact that the court proceedings have not yet concluded.

Police are also investigating other possible offenses, and his repeated alleged offenses have become a matter of serious concern.
